Archive-October 2006 ---------------------- success!^^ ---------------------- yay success, I’ve finally got my domain up (here ^^) Wow, I honestly thought I’d never figure out how to transfer stuff from a MySql database, but yay, now I know how xD (I thought my blog was going to die on me and I’d lose all my posts and would have to reinstall Wordpress xDD but me ish lucky this time^^) Anyhoo, to my beloved blog buddies, please remember to update your links^^ on other news, school was totally pointless today, because of commencement, all my classes ended up being something like 20mins long (rawr, I could’ve been at home, sleeping TTuTT) but at least we got off early^^ my friends and I went off to read manga at a bookstore (cause they don’t care, and you could really sit there all day and read the manga there xD) and then went out for lunch (Japanese food lol), I bought another wishlist item today while I was in Chinatown with some friends. I finally got TRC:Future Soundscape III <3 now all I need to wait for is the 4th one xD) it was very tempting to buy more manga (normal and yaoi xD) buut…no, I’ll save it for later^^ and..a late Happy Moon/Autumn Festival for all Asians (mm..mooncake was good today, and the moon is really bright tonight too, I swear when I saw it, it looked like a lamp xD). and a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone^^ (it’s Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada gobble gobble lol) *note to self, I need a new blog layout too xD* ||October 7,2006|| ---------------------- *poof* ---------------------- yes, I just went up in smoke lol no, but school work is killing me (I have no life now =o=) more specifically my sciences and Calc(kinda) is killing me. Chem test, eww..fail (imo, not for real of course, I more mean..Asian fail xD) the class average was 50 something (I really do wonder how many people really failed it). Bio, I don’t even want to think about since I know (or am very sure) I did bad since I spent my time studying for teh stupid Chem. test >_<. *Rant rant rant*... xD Hoping I'll get 90's in Design and Data (Music is auto 90+ xD) to bump my average up since, at this rate, it's bound to be either a high 70 or a low 80 (English is if-y, my test marks are good, my writing mark is meh..borderline). Luckily, universities oconsider the average of your top 6 marks xD (yay <3) Aside from that, I just got somewhat addicted to Sunrise's recent anime release Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion (Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch), the opening and ending themes sound great, the art of course is awsome since the designs were done by CLAMP (and we all love clamp lol, the animation style is pretty much the same as the one used for Tsubasa Chronicle). The storylineso far, in general is pretty typical for a mecha-type anime (somewhat like Gundam Seed with the whole war between 2 things scenario). But it looks pretty promising :3 even though I only saw the first episode yesterday on Youtube xD (I would gladly post the link, but Youtube, pretty much took down every single Code Geass video T-T). but yep..looking forward to seeing the rest (and hopefully someone will have it subbed soon^^) and now, to bed (or…to anime, and then to bed xDDD) [EDITNESS] Youtube put a couple of the Code Geass videos back up (well…just the opening and ending theme vidoes T-T) if you wanna watch them (which you should fwahahaha) check them out^^: Opening Theme - Colors by FLOW Ending theme - Yuukyou Seishunka by Ali Project GG-Fansubs, also just subbed the first episode of Code Geass (which I will spend the next few days downloading xD ah…don’t we all love how ‘fast’ BT is x3) [/EDITNESS] ||October 14,2006|| ---------------------- Turn back time ---------------------- woOt one extra hour of sleep!! that I’m not going to really use xDDD (was just 12am a second ago, but now it’s 11pm again xDDD) yes.. Daylight savings time, the time in Canada where nighttime comes at something like 4-4:30pm and where morning doesn’t really start until 8am (instead of 6 or 7am) ya…it also means it’s getting much much colder. (Like right now, my computer is in the basement, and for some reason, even though my hands are moving and typing this, they’re freezing cold xp <--happens when I'm on the computer up in my living room too O_o weird..) yes..but totally not loving the cold weather (though, sometimes I admit it's better then being overly hot and sweaty and..bleh..) waking up in the morning is cold, going to sleep is cold, leaving the house is definitely cold and yes... point is, it's cold xD Anyhoo, last last week was United Way week at our school (United Way is a charity our school supports every year), our class made about $300 selling cotton candy so if we're lucky we might win the free pizza party x3 (really the only class who could beat us would be the class that did DDR for I think $1.00 - typical 3 rounds). Faculty Follies (a show where teachers of certain departments in our school put on a performance) was wasome, best department performances were definitely from the English and Science departments xDD (omg, I couldn't stop laughing xDDD) I recorded both of them, so when I get time later I'll post them so you can all watch and laugh too xDD Oh, watched the first 2 episode subs for Code Geass (thank you gg, I just watched episode 2 a few days ago thanks to my superfast 2nd computer xD the computer I'm on right now sucks at downloading torrents and would've taken days to download the whole thing xp) and I've watched up to 3 in terms of raws (waiting for someone to put the full parts 4 on Youtube-only saw a short clip from it, and once again, Youtube took down almost all the Code Geass episode videos =_=) All I can say about the series right now is that I'm enjoying it (maybe because I'm a sucker for bishies and somewhat for mechas xD but....anyhooo), it's amusing to see how Lelouch (who I will now permenantly call Lulu-chan x3) uses his Geass power on people. Though I have to agree with some of the commenters on Memento (an anime blog) that at this rate everyone will be immune to his power (that is, if it really only works once on a person as it seemed to be in episode 3) lol, possibly planning to open and Code Geass fansite (since I haven't seen one yet, and this is almost a perfect time to start, though that would mean that I should drop/hiatus my other 2 fansite projects that are online -*tear*they're so neglectedT-T) fwa oh well...Halloween next week! this means.. you should all cosplay a character or bishie you like fuu fuu!! n_n <3 [EDIT]Almost forgot, I have a new beloved blog buddy, her name is Hikari(like meee!! yes another step towards world domination x33) or H-chan as her profile also says, weee!!! visit her blog fuu fuu <3. and for Crystal - your new blog is so cute x3*huggles* fwa, somewhat contemplating on changing the name of my blog xD[/EDIT] ||October 29,2006||
