Kyuu! Archive-May 2007 ---------------------- 1.5 months and counting ---------------------- It’s Mayyyy!!! weeee about 1.5 months left of school…excluding exams xD WoOt! Anyhow, this week was just tiring, too many projects and assignmentS, ISU’s and whatnot x_x;;; Things I still need to do: -2 minor English assignments -Biology lab (heh, urinalysis xDDDD) -Calculus assignment (free marks!) -Music concert review -Music - final ISU -study for Data and Calc test x3 The only courses I’m really worried about is Biology. My lowest mark, the most borderline mark ever….70 xx;;;; Well, I estimate a 90% chance of failing my last test on Molecular Genetics, so everything is more or less riding on the 2nd part of my lab project and the lab I’m writing up for this week x3 I need to bump it to at least a 75% in case I do bad on the exam….like last year *shivers* ( bad memories of grade 11 bio exam). That would be so that I won’t have a chance of losing my acceptance to UTSC in case I don’t get into York for design. Speaking of York, I just feel like it’s being a real pain now. Waiting for almost 2 months for a reply, when my interview was in February? T-T even one of my friends who had her interview in March got hers in mid-April (but she didn’t get in, which makes me sad ToT). Anyhow though, I really hope I get in. Though I’ll admit that making a choice between that and UTSC is going to be really hard (I went to the orientation for UTSC today, and…oh…it’s so tempting x33). o.k. besides school junk xD Anime North is in about 3 weeks! yayyy~~ <3 I haven’t exactly told my parents that I want to stay at the hotel for the weekend but…yeah..I’ll have to eventually. oh the excitement of it all, I’m cosplaying Viletta Nui from Code Geass at the convention :D I also bought my prom dress today, it’s kinda deep red colour, and ended up much cheaper than a dress that I would’ve bought downtown (around $130, normally prom/formal dresses bought in downtown Toronto around around $200-300+, plus me being Asian, and having a very stereotypically small Asian body, nothing fits me because…Western dresses just litterally don’t fit me xD) I owe my mom big time, I’m glad she helped me pick it out. She knows my dressing style :3 (I’ll post a piccy of my dress later nyan^^) ||May 6,2007|| ---------------------- 2 weeks ---------------------- woOt, i’m both excited and at the same time probably going to be soooo dead xD but who cares! xD Anyhoo, I ordered Gazette’s photobook off j-xyz.net, yes it’ll cost me almost $70 CAD. $69 CAD, $61 USD plus shipping. I have no access to any of my USD finances so I have to pay in CAD, and since I have no credit or bank card or enough money on Paypal, I can’t use that either. (has anyone ever sent anything by Registered Mail before? because I’m totally confused on how to use that >>;;; ) I never told my parents, but but I realllyyyy want it xD the photos are just beautiful, and when I saw scans of them I was like, ‘fwaaaa!! I have to have it x3'(none of the stores here sell them and j-xyz is the only website where you can order them) soo yep…I can’t wait for that to come <333 Besides that, I've got a hell of a lot of stuff to do by the next 2 weeks: -finish costume for Anime North (2 weeks fwa!!!) -finish Music ISU (I'm composing something) and concert review(that can wait) -do English ISU and assignments -finish Design ISU (that I really need done) -study for Biology test -start making notes for exams yeah...a lot of stuff, besides that I also have to tell my parents about staying at the hotel with one of my friends during Anime North. they are such hicks, I swear they're going to yell at me for going, but it's totally not my fault that they stuck the convention 2 weeks before my exams. For the last 3 years AN has been on the US Memorial Day weekend - which is totally unfair considering the fact that this is a Canadian anime convention (no offense people). It used to be during the Victoria Day weekend (which is the weekend before the Memorial Day weekend) which works much better for the majority of Canadian students (specifically high school students, since university is finished in April) before we get Monday off to catch up on stuff that might not be finished for school. Anyway, I just hope my parents won’t complain too much (especially considering the fact that I gave up going to 4 conventions already that were all free TT_____TT), I’m hoping that I’ll get accepted to York by then so that I don’t have to worry about exams too much (the thing about going into arts/design is that once you go through with portfolio interviews and get in. You’re guaranteed to keep your acceptance as long as your English mark doesn’t go below 70. and seriously, getting a 70 in English is not hard….not here anyway xD). So yep…I’m probably going to be going on hiatus now until exams are over. I’ll probably post after Anime North and that’ll be it until June 18(my last exam day). Oh and last thing before I’m off to bed (I’m tired and sick today unfortunately).
