Archive-July 2005 ---------------------- Happy Canada Day! ---------------------- wel...yes...I know late xD bah, oh well...yep, today is Canada day(or was lol), didn't do any special..yep just mostly stayed at home(had piano lessons in the morning TuT). redid the css for my forum(wahh...it took so long but I'm so proud of it TuT). Yep, oh I forgot to mention before that I managed to get more green tea pocky(my mom found some in Chinatown a few days ago ^^) yipee!! Hikari-chan loves green tea pocky <3 [edit]I forgot to mention that Janime's been down for pretty much the whole day *sigh* (how do I know for sure?...because Pummeldex is down too^^;;;; and since Pummeldex sponsers Janime, that means Janime is down....umm...refering to the forum of course^^;;; ) ||July 1,2005|| ---------------------- Happy Indenpendance Day ---------------------- well...though I'm not a U.S. resident, just wanted to say Happy Independance Day to my American friends =3 First day of volunteer work(lol, not the first time though xD), kids were hyper today( must've been the heat xD) had a sudden downpour today too(I swear at one point it seemed like we had hail falling too o.o). Crazy weather I tell ya xD ||July 4, 2005|| ---------------------- pain *ouch* >< ---------------------- ortho today after volunteer work. Got settling elastics today. Oi, I tell you, it bugs me so much to be wearing them. They basically zig-zag up and down my teeth on both sides. Thing is , this makes me teeth stick together tight(really tight @_@), so tight I have to keep my teeth together when I'm talking(in other words, I can't open my mouth, unless I force myself painfully right now >_>). It's also a lot of pressure on my teeth(and I mean all areas of my teeth =_=), which makes it hurt when I even attempt to relax them by opening my mouth, it strains my jaw too because my teeth really really hurt >< (ya...not really a good thing, painful moments like this usually end up putting me in a pissed mood. ...kinda...) Oh, onto other stuff. my neighbour's dad wants me to tutor his son(who I have associated with since my brother and I were kids xD) in Math. Joy, course I'm taking it lol, maybe this'll save me time from looking for a summer job next year lol^^ (see? being good in school does come handy ^^v not that I'm not already a tutor to some of my friends xD *cept I'm doing it for free xP*) ||July 6, 2005|| ---------------------- 1 step closer to completion xD ---------------------- Well...I have to say, after all this time, I finally finished another corner shrine for my Yu-gi-oh fansite let's see, that took...I don't kno how many days *cough*weeks*cough*months* cough*, which would've only taken about 2 hours to do, but instead ... *cough* yes...let's just be happy that I finished. Well..lol that puts me one step closer to actually being close to completing my move in(well..that is...after about 3 server moves before getting hosted by Uiien-chan/Yuki Yang xD). Yep..let's see..overall, it's been about 3 years since I started my Yu-gi-oh fansite, and about the same time since I've started liking Yu-gi-oh (o.k. most people would say, yes stupid bleh, what a retarded anime >_>, oh well, pfft that's their opinion and I have my own so blah xP). Anyways, teeth not hurting as much today(cept in the morning during volunteer work, that pained me a lot ><). Next week, going to Casa Loma(for the 3 time xD), as part of the session outing lol. Planning to possibly go out for DDR the week after I'm done volunteering. Also have to think about how much to charge my neighbour for tutoring their kid. (parents say about $10 an hour is enough..me, I have no idea xD), Memo to myself too, that I have to go down to Anime Xtreme some time to get the Arjuna OST(that I've been dying to get, because the full downloads are impossible to find..err..refering to the first OST, but I'm mostly getting it just to listen to Earth Resonance and Dive). Oh, after looking at domain names, I also know now that unless I were rich, I doubt I will ever buy a [dot]nu domain name due the the fact that it would cost me around $88.30 CND (now, this compared to the [dot]net and [dot]org that I'd prefer is outrageously expensive since I can buy [dot]net's and [dot]org's for $6.95 USD which lasts for 10 years xD) yep, now I'll stop rambling and go to bed xD ||July 8, 2005|| ---------------------- *drip**drip* ---------------------- Whew, haven't blogged for a while lol. Started tutoring on Monday, it's been going on pretty well. Ah, hotness these days the heat kills. Temperature's been around 30's for the last few days @_@ so yep, it kills to be in my room >_> Anyways, going to Scarborough Town Centre tomorrow with Mandy, Jess and Tracy. Oh, today was the last day of my volunteer work too(that's another 20 some hours now^^v), I might help out again, depends though lol. Anyways, now I'll get off because sitting in the basement is starting to get hot too xD *snore* ||July 14, 2005|| ---------------------- ^-^ ---------------------- I am seriously running out of subject titles to say for my blog entries xDDDDDD O.k., anyway, first thing. Bought the 6th Harry Potter book(Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince) today yipee, that tops it off now lol plenty of books to read now x3. Oh, also played the demo of the next Full Metal Alchemist game for ps2. Surprisingly, even though graphic wise(in my opinion) wasn't as nice and smooth as the first Full Metal Alchemist game(that I don't have lol, just played the demo) it's still pretty good due to the fact that they stick pretty close to the anime storyline. lol, note though that I've never seen a single episode of Full Metal Alchemist, and as of last night I've got myself semi-addicted to Ed xDDD(and I must find fansubs of FMA grrrr darn you torrents! why do you hate me!? xp) Anyway, more good stuff, while searching for FMA fansubs(and preferrably direct download episodes) I came across a site that had direct downloads for Chrno Crusade! ^-^(hahahahaha!!! What luck because it would've taken me forever to download the stupid torrent xp) yes!! and they even have the whole series for Pretear <33 *super glomps Kraga-kun* (I lub you and when I am not as poor as I am now and able to spend my money on the internet I will donate to you because you are awsome TuT <3333 *super glomp*) Ah yes...I'm in such a good mood today^^ (love for Chrno Crusade *runs away to stare at Chrno* demon-kawaiiness x3) Cheers! ||July 16, 2005|| ---------------------- finally^^ ---------------------- well, finally downloaded and finished watching all of Chrno Crusade(fansubbed lol). I must say, that for most of the anime, it's hillarious lol(despite that there was some fanservice in it >_>). but near the end(around episode 19-23) it started to get slightly farfetched and stupid due to the fact that Rosette's character goes from confident, optimistic and slightly hyper to weak, depressive and other depressing characteristics. (mannn!! was she pale when she was "controlled by Aion"). Aion also went from an "invincible" character to a weakling that got killed by Chrno in one shot xp. pfft. But the last episode was nice...*sniff* so sweet I cried TuT (took screencapy for Rosette and Chrno in their final scene together). Kinda sad(depressing) that overall the 2 protangonists died in the end. Overall not too bad of an anime(not I must read the manga xD which I heard is supposed to be a lot better than the anime ) O.k, neways, now that I watched all of the episodes, I will most likely just go back to my forum lifestyle(which I've surprisingly neglected from being addicted to watching Chrno Crusade fansubs xDD). lol, me and my forums xDDD Oh, tomorrow, going down to Chinatown with Mandy and Noor(kinda our get together thing since Noor's switching school this September ToT). Memo to self: remember to buy the Arjuna OST^^ ||July 21, 2005|| ---------------------- up and done ---------------------- actually my mood should be more or less proud buttttt...anyway xD. First of all, I finally got the 1st Arjuna OST!!! <3333 (the downloads are virtually impossible to find xD). Mostly bought it to listen to Awakening, Diving and Resonance of the Earth(lol, they're addictive) hahaha, I'm such an addict) Anyways, other stuff, had lots of fun with Mandy and Noor on Friday in Chinatown, though we originally planned to go to pmall, we couldn't because I had an optometrist appointment ><(next time we gotta go!!! and we must take sticker pictures!!! xDDDDD). Oh, I'm getting new glasses frames next weekend too(they're silver, and slightly rectangle-ish xD). Did a lot of moving around since my dad's kinda fixing up the house before my relatives from San Francisco come in August so the house has been pretty much a mess(that, plus it smells of varnish and paint from the 2nd floor). Oh, one last thing, I managed to change my Yugioh site into a PHP base site from HTML!!^^ I feel so utterly proud that I did since I'm an dunce at webdesign xp Least now, layout changing, navi updates and affie updates will be less of a pain and a lot faster^^ (ya I know, I'm so slow at this because basically every good site has already switched to XHTML and PHP, so ho, I'm stupid leave me alone xp) O.k, I'll shut up and go to sleep now xD(pfft, supposed to do that 50 mins ago xp) ||July 25, 2005|| ---------------------- new cosplay project ---------------------- well, actually first off, I completely forgot to mention that yesterday I went to see Batman Begins overall, in my opinion, it was an o.k. movie, but it definitely doesn't beat the original classic 3 before this remake of the original Batman Begins. Chirstian Bale did an o.k. job with the role, but doesn't be Clooney xD though, his look does kinda suit the idea that this was a time when Batman was younger (though, I don't really consider 30 to be very young xD boy I wonder how old Batman was by the time they got to the 4th movie xD. O.k, next thing, as this entry title suggests, I do have a new cosplay project that I will be doing for CN Anime. My plan is to cosplay Juna Ariyoshi(Earth Girl Arjuna)so I can hopefully pose with Brad Swaile(again cept this time I will be a matching character from a series he's acted in lol). Overall the clothes is a no brainer I can pretty much buy her whole outfit, well..all I really need to buy, or make, is the skirt everything else I've got. The one big pain will be to make gandiva(the "holy bow"), one thing for sure is that it will be made of cardboard xD I will require lots of yellow paint annnnnd, the arrow I have not decided on yet xD. CN Anime-> Friday and Sunday I will be cosplaying Rinoa Heartilly(FF VIII), maybe Lacus Clyne on Friday or Sunday, and will be going as Juna on Saturday(I just really hope I can get the bow done^^;; hahaha, good thing I have a long bow in the garage to measure with even though my result will end up being shorter than the actual thing if it were real x3). Yep, so hopefully I'll get this all done^^ (and, hopefully I'll be able to get my Arjuna project site up, as of now it is one of the project sites that I definitely want to get done, next up is .Hack//Sign, Pretear I'm thinking about dropping...maybe...I'll think about it^^) ||July 25, 2005|| ---------------------- success!! ---------------------- My first 100% successful Tables Layout! weee!!! yay! O.k, fine big whoop, because the layout's not for me anyway xD. but thanks so much to Magitek Designs for the great tutorial (because I can understand it^^ yes I'm stupid shut and leave me alone =_=). Anyways, the design in general was a decent one. it was made for one of my sibling Yugioh sites(he just got a new domain and requested for me to do a layout for it) lol, anyway good that I've got that done lol. (you can look at my ugly layout here) I've also got all my corner shrines done so I'm happy about that too, basic downloads are done and hopefully I'll be able to do more on that, and the graphics that I'm missing my various sections of my site xD lazy me. Oh, this blog has also been switched to php, lol yes I know I should've done that before pfft, leave me alone xD. Yep so I'll shut up now hehehe, tomorrow's Civic Holiday, was originally planning to go to Wonderland with my Church youth group but, was forced out and am going out to my uncle's place for a barbeque and lunch (oh well, he has a nice house and we're going for fancy food for lunch xD) Oh, also, surprisingly, I'm almost done making gandiva for my Juna cosplay(lol, though mind you it's just a paper mache thing that looks bad right now xD) lol, hoepfully I'll be able to get that all done by the end of this week or the next x3 [edit] btw pics from my trip to Casa Loma are up now in my photo album, yes Jess, they are up now :p xD ||July 31, 2005||
