Kyuu! Archive-Feburary 2006 ---------------------- up and running again^^ ---------------------- Yep, after my downtime, I’ve finally got myself a new host^^. Thankies so much to Haia (silentcross.net) for hosting me <3 I managed to get Wordpress installed (a couple of days ago after staring at the screen for 20 mins trying to figure out why it wasn’t connect to MySql database xD baka me I suck) and just finally got this layout back up (not easy, this just overall took 4 hours to do x_x). Not exactly everything here is back up yet, but…it will be….eventually xp Past few weeks and such: Exams/1st Term Evaluations - Comp. Sci. theory part came out nice, practical was….. undescribably bad (no I didn’t fail, it was just bad), my English teacher sucks because I’m getting bad marks from him(but is also slightly decent because he’ll let us redo major essays for a better mark), got my 1st evaluation art project done and handed in on Thursday(<–such a pain, I spent the last 2 weeks working on it almost everyday at lunch @_@) Oh, I finished watching the 1st season of Tsubasa Chronicle too^^ (yayness, now I just have to wait till March before the next season comes out xD that plus KH2 <3). Started watching Fullmetal Alchemist (hahaha…hagane no chibi…ahem correction, kawaii hagane no chibi^^ *glomps* lol Ed-chan we lub you^^). finishing Azumanga Daioh and…yep…that’s all in terms of anime watching xD and….now I should go to bed xD ja’ne! ||February 10,2006|| ---------------------- Through the gate ---------------------- wait wait wait, before you read on, read this and if you didn’t get that read this: “Fullmetal Alchemist on YTV (2006-02-10 20:35:38) YTV has announced in their anime bulletin that Fullmetal Alchemist will premiere Friday, March 3 at 10pm” - Source: AnimeNewsNetwork first of all…… *does the happy hyper dance* yayness, FMA is finally coming to a channel I can see x3333 *runs around in circles*. Honestly this was really a big shock considering the fact that YTV has never shown a FUNimation dubbed anime (well…as far as I know anyway, cause I’ve only seen YTV show $hit 4Kids dubs which are crap bad, excluding Gundam Wing/ Seed, Inuyasha, .Hack//Sign, and all those other animes that are shown past 9pm EST, not saying of course that I hate Tokyo Mew Mew or Shamen King, I just hate the English dubs with a burning passion because of the butcheredness…anyways…. *cough*, before I start outrightly rant about 4Kids dubs…*) Fullmetal Alchemist is a great start^^ (I would suggested that or Fruits Basket :33), maybe now with the start of viewing FUNimation dubs, we’ll finally get some right-aged anime (not some $hit bad kiddy dubbed anime that butchers everything from the word “death”, a cut on a character, and slight nudity/skin exposure(yes I do refer to YuGiOh and Tokyo Mew Mew on this). but….yay FMA! and….. yay! Ed-chan!!! <333 *hearts**glomps Edward plushie* and...yes I will be recording the whole series (all 51 episodes^^ I'm almost done watching the original Japanese, and boy I die laughing almost everytime xDDD), and luckily for us, unlike 4Kids(yes I do hate them with a burning passion), FUNimation did a pretty good job on dubbing Fullmetal Alchemist(Hagane no Renkinjutsushi, I've seen a couple episodes of the English dub thanks to the FMA game I got for my brithday :3), so can't wait to see that <33 (March 3, not too far^^) Anyways, on another note, I went to see the BodyWorlds 2 exhibit today with my parents and brother at the Science centre today (call me a geek whatever, that's your opinion and I respect that >_>), pretty interesting, overall it was cool (slightly scary too with the cross of the fetus and such^^;<--boy and I agreed to do illustrations/diagrams of this in Biomed Comm. too xD). Anyway bleh, now I gotta actually start trying again in school =_= (yep it's that time to work my butt off for good marks again) that reminds me.. I got something like 5 1/2 hours of sleep Thursday night because of History (oh damn you history and all your complicated names and dates, why? why in the world do I have to be interested in it? xDDD) yep...and the most retarded thing happened to me during Chemistry on Thursday. O.k. I had Chem. 3rd period. I go in, first thing I had to do was hand in my lab, that's what I did, and after that I went back to my seat, so I think it was maybe 20mins into the period my teacher sends down the attendance and starts handing out sheets for the lesson. He missed giving me one so I asked for one then he says. "Oh! You're here?" *twitch* in my head I was thinking "omg he didn't...he did =_=" yep, my teacher marked me absent on the attendance sheet (and this was after it got sent down). O.k. I know I sit way at the back of the classroom, behind someone taller than me, by seriously wth!? I came up right in front of you to hand in my lab report you *censor* blind idiiot!! >_< Well...can't yell at him for Asian discrimination since half our class in Asian so..yeah.. .but still...garr, that really pissed me off that day >_<. oi and I’ve completely neglected introducing my new layout, *cough* yes, introducing version 14.0 of my blog featuring Ed *glomps* a bunch of main characters from Full Metal Alchemist nyaaaa!!! so red hahaha…I had to but white glow on my content text because Ed’s leg got in the way ehehe….this layout may change soon lol. am I bored..maybe hoho, ja’ne!) ||February 18,2006|| ---------------------- Reach for the Gold ---------------------- A quick blog post before I go to bed If any of you watched the Womens Hockey finals for the Olympics. Canada won gold!!! yay!!! you’ve all been pwned bwahahahahaha *does the happy dance* lol, anyways..that was a moment marked in history for us :333 Anyways, now I’m off to bed, need to catch up on sleep because my alarm clock cost me 3 hours of it last night >_< (that plus I need to sleep to be awake for my Com. Sci. test tomorrow….which I will probably be screwed for xD oh well..’night’s! :3) ||February 21,2006|| ---------------------- School of Hard Knocks ---------------------- ugh, sometimes I hate having stereotypical Asian parents that always nag you about school marks. Yes..you know what I mean…yep..they saw my 1st term report. Anyway, I’m not doing bad in school, no, I just have a few marks in the 70’s and one that was close to a 70 but wasn’t because of a stupid teacher *cough**burns Chem. textbook: textbook + Oxygen -> paper ashes x3*. Yes anyways..but point is, I’m not failing anything (oo wow, o.k. fine, I’m Asian failing to them >_>) but…rawr *grumble* I’m not going to rant on about this. So as a result I’m forced to use up less computer time to improve my marks for 2nd term, which means in general…..I have to work my @ss brain out to get better marks (yep that’s right, I have to try again T-T, me and my lazy-ness >_>) O.k. depressing junk away^^ FMA (English dub) comes out on ytv this Friday <3 *glomps Ed plushie* yay-ness. And late-ness to me because I'm stupid but, the English FFVII: Advent Children Cloud VA will be the same VA for Cloud in Kingdom Hearts (eeep! *fangirl squeal* <3 he makes Cloud sound as smexy as he looks in KH <333 *melts*), yep, so I'm really glad that they made that choice and used the KH Cloud VA, because his voice is sooooo cool xD and o.k....starting to sound like a rabid hyper fangirl ehehe...must calm down lol. Speaking of KH though, Kingdom Hearts 2 will be coming out soon^^ well...in a month to be exact lol (woOt Auron will now be useable in KH2, lol they even put AC Cloud in it too x3) hahaha...yes video games and anime/manga keeps me happy xD (mm...anime/manga/video games.. my anti-drugs xD) Anyhoo..just leave now, 1) have to finish my History junk 2) will be forced off soon 3) I should go to sleep earlier anyway because I have to wake up for Orchestra practice tomorrow (so not fair, she said she'd give us the week after the concert off! >_< liar) ||February 28,2006||
