Kyuu! Archive- December 2004 ----------------- cosplay fun --------------- well, once again, me late again. yes...let's all praise Hikari's laziness xD. Anyway, for all of you who are big anime/manga fans (like me =P and live in or around toronto, you guys probably went to the Toronto Anime-Con. And...I was there!^^ yup, me, cosplaying Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed. If you saw a person walking around with pink hair from 12:15 till 5:30pm that was me.. I was also there with some of my friends, 2 of my friends cosplayed as Gundam Seed characters too. =P Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I couldn't take pictures of my friends or cosplayers T_T. luckily, my friend Michael took pictures, So feel free to check out his featured page on the December TAC http://individual.utoronto.ca/archy/Archy/DTAC. Oh, I almost forgot, we got to meet Matt Hill the voice actor for Kira Yamato from GS. cool eh?^^ anyways, enjoy!^~ -December 7,2004 ----------------- finally!!! someone who knows!! --------------- ah!!! finally, our school has finally come up with some good Anime fans!! xD well today, was the first meeting of the Japan ...*thinks* baka me! i can't even remember th club name xD *whacks herslef in the head* i'm o.k^^....anyway, yep first meeting, not that big of a turn out, but I can tell you it sure is bigger than the number of people showing up at our school Anime club. no joke >_>, in all honesty our school Anime club sucks, badly...all they do is watch Anime dvds. and the thing is, it's only the ones that the club heads like. (they hate mechas, and spent most of last year watching Trigun, and Excel Saga 6 times or some -_-;;), thank goodness for these people^^ this was basically a Japan fan-club, but hey, we could throw in some anime right?^^ so, these people were great, we're doing a mix of mangas and anime dvd ep's(originals of course =P) and some j-pop/rock music while we're reading. and they're really open to suggestions too. ah...finally some awsome Anime fans who know the meaning to true fandom xD. yep, oh and today my parents bought a new car air freshener and they got some free stuff with it too. i got this really weird blue plushie xD. funny thing is...it's missing an ear!!! xD, I'll post a piccie later on^^ yep. so there's my update on my*cough *cough* boring life. xD ciao to ya all and have a great weekend! -December 4, 2004 ----------------- omg! look! --------------- o.k, I know this entry actually a little late but hey, you all know I have a life out of this place lol. Anyway, if you haven't heard already, Ken Jennings, the Jeopardy genius had lost 2 nights ago. yep! that's right he lost! A guy who lasted for 75 days and won over $2,520,700!!!xD in the beginning I actually heard about this 2 days before on the radio when they played a recording of the moment when he lost. What's even more weird, is the fact that he lost to a woman. wow! talk about girl brain power xD. but she didn't last long because she lost the day after. I got my mid-terms 2 weeks ago. (bad bad bad mark,English-88, Math-76, Science-76, History-74, Career Studies-80, Strings-93,Information & Computer Science-91, Design-90) look at that! 76 for Math and Science, what in the world is wrong with me! >_> *whacks herself in the head* baka me! ahem...anyway, last Monday was the awards assembly, got my Intergrated Technology(a.k.a grade 9 Com. Tech) award from last year. pfft, it's just a piece of ugly paper, my friend Amy got a scolarship(yay!) that's worth $50(bah! *rambles*)Oh and I'm very happy about my computers mark especially since it's a grade 11 course(that sucks and it's about java programming, and my teacher sucks because he can't teach for beans-_-, yep but good thing is..I beat all the guys in my class, and thing is I'm the only girl in my class (bwahahaha!!! suckers!), History unit test is coming up too. noooooo! I'm bad at History...well Canadian History anyway xD. Next year I'm doing Ancient Civilations(a.k.a World History) much more interesting <3. Oh oh! and the December Toronto AnimeCon is this coming Sunday!^^ I'm excited, I'm cosplaying as Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed^^ (yes! and I'm making a haro too <3 cept it won't talk xD) anyway duty calls *runs off* oh, and btw, I got rid of the whole journal section thing, and will be replacing it with some piccies. so st
