Kyuu! Archive-August 2006 ---------------------- 3 weeks left ---------------------- Well..it’s just about 3 some weeks left before school, something like that xD Anyhoo, went to my uncle’s place for his traditional annual barbecue. Partially bored and yet not, I spent half the time skimming Titanic books he had and starting reading Angels and Demons great book so far, my uncle let me borrow it^^ It was a happy and sad day, cool thing, when I got there my dad found a small tortoise(he thought it was a turtle) so he said if I wanted to I could keep it. At first of course, yay! a pet! and it was really cute too^^ (now if you know me well, you’ll know that normally my parents never let me have pets, not even fish). So I spent some time playing with it for a while (it was in a bowl, I named it Kame-san x3, ‘kame’ means turtle/tortoise xD), needed to go to the washroom and when I came back it was gone TT————TT and I was very sad, I couldn’t find it anywhere in my uncle’s backyard TT———-TT there goes my almost pet (poor kame-san TT–TT). Yes I was very sad, it seriously was really cute. and baka me I didn’t even take a picture of it TT—-TT (maybe I’ll find it next year, puuu…) O.k., other thing, was kinda bored today so I decided to go and read scanlations of Tsubasa Chronicle. So in terms of the story, I’m pretty well caught up (course I’ll still be buying the English manga too :p). Read Chapter 125 today and… ***SPOILER WARNING HERE!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*** [omg!!! I can’t believe that the Syaoran we’ve come to know from the beginning of the series, is just a clone of the real Syaoran who is a descendant of Clow Reed TT–TT (And he was so nice and all *tear*). Not that the real Syaoran isn’t smexy (yes he still is smexy, it’s Syaoran after all xD), but in a way, he seems half heartless and cold (closer to how CCS Syaoran was in the beginning). But he’s still a relatively new character in the story, so we’ve yet to know his true personality :3 But wahhh, clone Syaoran why!? why!? why must they be corrupted!? TTuTT]spoiler end*** oh well, hopefully will read more soon, now me sleep, I’m kinda sick today so..yes sleep, and I’m tired, puu…oyasumi minna-san^^ ||August 10,2006|| ---------------------- Again.. xD ---------------------- hahaha, BBC Conference 2006 yay n_n ah…so many new memories made this year, and once again the speaker, was awwwwwssommmmmeee!!! <333 [note religious rant here] The workshop on Holiness was great (yes, it adds to my small but growing collection of notes >33), and the same with Worship (because..you know that’s just the best part of being Christian xDDD). The songs this year were also, very awsome, I’m glad my dad let me stay till the last song was over n_n (I was too hyper to leave yet anyway xDD weee!!! *jumps up and down*). Only thing that was nice was having to go home sweaty x3 bleh, oh well, I could care less since it was so fun <33. can't wait for next year n_n **note: I have the message from the last night recorded, so if you want to hear it, ask me x3 it's on the subject of 'hope' and was very amusing and enlightening n_n.** and now, I'll be off to write another testimony again n_n *runs off*[end religious rant] Anyhoo, spent the whole day today playing KH2 again, mostly for journal completion (argghhh!!! Twilight Town missions…*twitch* so tedious TT—TT I should just go play proud mode xD) on a side note, I should actually start, realllyyy making my costumes for CN …. soon xD yes very soon, before I get too lazy x3 nyan oyasumi n_n ||August 15, 2006|| ---------------------- (__$__) <– <(*w*<) ---------------------- yes! I got paid today! *dances* *throws confetti around* *throws pocky boxes around* o.k. not really, all I got was my statement that had my pay on it xD ($104.23 CND <-that was after my government deductions and additional auto vacation pay x_x;; ). At first I was actually really confuzzled as to why I was paid less than what I thought I was supposed to get. I've worked for a week, 5 hours a day, 7 days a week (yes! I must sacrifice my weekends rawrgh =_=;; ), making it a total of 35 hours (including the orientation day is 37.5), and a pay of around $300. But, it's right xD (the statement is just for my first 2 days of work, not my week's worth, meh, baka me *whacks herself with a mallet*) Yep, so anyhoo my next pay statement should be $500 some xD so overall not bad for a short summer job where I sit there for 5 hours and do almost nothing but maybe make noise xD Right, now bed for me, before I become more sleep deprived then I already am from sleeping at 2am for the past few nights =_=;; Randomness xo Things to do before school: -Clean up Eternal Yugioh Kingdom site (so neglected) -Update Earth Resonance (also neglected) -Work on Makai Senki Disgaea stuff for fanlisting/shrine -Set up Michishirube fanlisting (<–finally TAFL approved after, I think, a month =_=) -new blog layout -finish incomplete wallpaper/art stuff (<–like my painting that I didn’t finish xD) -Sort out art stuff for OCAD Portfolio(<–well I told my mom I’d try for OCAD, no promises though, I suck nyan xp) ||August 24, 2006|| ---------------------- 1 week left ---------------------- Well, first, omg Tsubasa Chronicle episode 40 almost made me cry TT–TT (as if the manga version wasn’t already sad *sniff* poor Kurogane T-T) And the theme near the end of episode 41 is so addictive (it’s just, so cool, argh, me wants, but I have no idea what it’s called xD) I’m assuming it’ll be in TRC: Future Soundscape IV but that’s not out until September- ish, the single (if there is one) won’t be out for a while too >_> but when I find out what song it is, I will (attempt to) hunt it down x3 Yesh, other thing, CN/Fan Expo is coming this weekend yay!! but boo, I can’t be around for as much as I could T-T going to try to make it for the masquerade if I can get back from work fast enough xD Kairi costume is almost done and same with Ritsuka. Unfortunately Ed’s coat is, again, not done, so for the very photoshoot I planned, I will be Ed, coatless TuT (damn, the coat is one of the things that make him cool TuT) oh well.
