Kyuu! Archive-August 2005 ---------------------- Civic holiday ---------------------- hahaha, actually I'm not blogging from my regular computer xD. Blogging from my uncle's computer(on Netscape xp) Anyway, today was the Civic holiday(goverment holiday thing xD) Well...I'm bloated from dinner, lol we haven't even had dessert yet x3. Yep, oh, I think I've also fried my brain from doing the notPron riddles xD. Ah, crap anyways not much to blog right now so bleh xp ||August 1,2005|| ---------------------- Yayness xDD ---------------------- well..actually, the first thing I want to announce would be that my orthodontist said for sure, I will have my braces off by the end of next month^^ yay!!! and this is after nearly 5 years of wearing there =_= But it's all good since I will be rid of them soon^^ (unfortunately it might not be in time for picture day, but it will be in time for my birthday^^). Oh, I also got new glasses a while ago, pfft, of course my lenses got thicker this year(I stare at this monitor too much >_>), thinkin about getting contacts next year (though I don't know how my friends would react since they rarely see me without glasses xD). Another thing, my Yugioh fansite won an the Shizukana Yoru Ni site award from Clynefaction.net weee!!! *glomps Ayumi* (btw, I hope you feel better these days, read your blog, and know it's been tough for you at home). Cleared my computer from a worm a few days ago too(and what a relief because it kept rebooting my computer, grrr damn you stupid worms!!!), kinda got a bit of DNS cache polluting today on my Yugioh fansite host T-T (stupid re-direct url was attacking my visitors and me with trojans ><). Anyways, my brother left for camp yesterday too, Pro=I have no one to bug me and the house is all mine for the day^^. Con=I have no one to bug at home TuT. He'll be back on the 20th, mom's going to be away with my relatives from San Francisco that weekend so the house'll be slightly empty lol. Oh, last thing, I'm almost done making Gandiva now, currently in the proccess of painting it, and then will finish up the arrow. Hopefully i'll be finished by either the end of this week or the next. Won't be able to work on it this weekend because I'm going to the BBC Conference(Tracy, msg me cause we gotta talk about it x3) lol, that's all for now ||August 9, 2005|| ---------------------- Whatever it Takes ---------------------- Well, spent Friday and my weekend at the BBC(Branded By Christ) Youth Conference. and I gotta say that.......IT WAS TOTALLY AWSOME!!!!!!!! woooooooo!!!! *jumps up and down* hahaha, surprisingly I have to say from this being my first year experience that it was great, the speaker(Micheal Rowen) was an awsome speaker, he was hillarious(total comedian hahaha) and even through his comedy he can still connect everything back to God. lol, I now dub him my Christian idol *super glomps* got his autograph too at the end of the conference lol *fangirl squeal*(got a kiss from him too hehehehehe). No really, he was awsome, and if he were to ever speak at any other conference in Toronto, I'd be there(or try lol) and I'd drag my friends too(no really, he is THAT awsome!). His messages have really touched me(I'm thinking about getting baptized now^^), it's just so cool to see someone like him making God's message so great.(God Bless ya^^). Oh, and worship for BBC was awsome too(I've gotten 2 new songs stuck in my head, lol and weeee One Way rocks!!!). Can't wait for next year and can't wait for TC too!!! woooo!!! Though, originally I planned to go on all 3 days, I decided to just go on the last 2 days again xD (Sia msg me soooonnn, because you missed a con. and I still didn't get a pic of your cosplay this year!! x3333) Anyways, here's me kinda probably not going to be short con. report Saturday -------- Came a bit lat because Patricia and Jess couldn't find my house(hehehe, so.k guys, now you know where I live^~). Yep, got there, line-up for tickets was a little long, but the line went pretty fast. Took some pics of some .Hack//Sign cosplayers(which looked really cool). Then we went up to the dealers room for a while. We decided to drop out autographs since the line up was long. Got my pic taken by an Arjuna fan too(yay! fandom!!!). Trust me, it was really hard walking around the crowded dealers room with a bow, I swear I whacked..I don't know how many people lol. Least my bow is paper mache and no more lol, we saw a giagantic Pikachu there too(whaaaa!!! so cool, even though I don't like Pokemon anymore xD). Went and met up with Michael, Mel and the rest of Nexus at Harveys. Hannah and Tara cosplayed as Dark Magician and the Celtic Guardian which was super cool!! (now if only we had a Dark Magician Girl to go with it too lol). Michael was Ichigo from Bleach and Mel was Sakura from Naruto(Mel looks so cute with pink hair^^. btw, I hope you liked the present I got you^^). We just sat around and talked for a while(laughed a lot lol, I am...yes, so easily amused xDDDDD). We started walking back to the con. and stopped along the way because Tara dropped her pouch, but that was o.k. because it gave us some time to do pictures^^ Oh, and this guy, who was wearing the funkiest bouncing shoes came "hop-jogging" past us. (hahaha, Jamie went "Come back magicial shoe man!" LOL xDDDDDDDDDD *lollmho*) Yup, after Michael got back we took some group pics and headed back down to the con. while Michael went to check in for the Masquerade we stood around and talked again, omg, there was..an R2D2 unit that came by!! weee!!!(Hikari loves Star Wars), it was so cool, it makes the noises!! lol(I dunno how much that toy would cost hahahaha). Besides that, we also saw another awsome cosplayer, they had a cardboard box on that said "Orange" on it xDDD (best costume x3333) Left at 6pm(unfortunately couldn't stay to watch the Masquerade TuT). So that was Saturday. Sunday Sabina had cancelled out, so I went to the con. alone yesterday(today lol), Sunday I cosplayed Rinoa Heartilly(Final Fantasy VIII), btw in case I didn't say before, I was cosplaying Juna Ariyoshi from Earth Girl Arjuna on Saturday. Finally, met Ayumi (from Clynefaction.net) this time knowing who she was hahahaha (she was cosplaying a male Wizard from Ragnarok Online). We actually met back at the December con.(she cosplayed Meer Campbell from Gundam Seed Destiny that time) but at that time I didn't know her. And since I didn't see her at Anime North I told her that I'd hunt her down at CN lol. So yup, I did, we hung out talked(and she invited me to dinner, and yay my parents let me go^^). While she went out for lunch, I went up to shop. Bought the 2nd Supergals dvd for Ikran(we will watch it soon), and I bought the 9th vol. of D.N. Angel(yay!! more Daisuke cuteness for me to stare at <3333). Bought a bunch of pins too(3 for Patricia, Jess and their sister and another pair for me, lol it says "Master" and "Slave" bwahahahaha x3, now if only I have a boyfriend to use both on xD j/k). met up with Ayumi again(I was like her minion all afternoon hahaha). We went back down and joined up with her friends, then talked some more and took random pictures xDDDDDD. We left around 6:20pm for dinner by that time, we were ditched by a bunch of people so it was just the 3 of us )me, Ayumi and another one of her friends) for dinner. Originally we were going to go to Pho's (Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Chinatown), but then on our way down to Union Station, we changed our minds and decided to just go to Harveys(since we're all poor lol, that plus Ayumi wanted some DQ, and who can't resist sugar? xD). Yep, so we were there, we stuck out a lot(or at least me and Ayumi did cause we were still in cosplay), kinda loud at some points. but we had our food so we were happy. We randomnly started talking about Gundam Seed, yaoi/shounen-ai ness, gaming lol and yup lots of randomness xDDD(we love randomness, who doesn't love randomness, anime fans must love randomness xDDDDD). After eating we started walking around randomnly around Front St. (again talking about shounen-ai, and how we got into it xD). Thennn, finally we got back to Union Station and got on the train to start heading home. Lucky lucky, we were all going in the same direction too. (Southbound then Eastbound, so I wasn't alone on my ride home^^), hehehe, I'm really surprised how me and Ayumi are surprisingly close after just meeting officially for the first time(we even have the same mp3 players!! and oi, I tell you I have never known anyone who has the same mp3 player as me xDDDD). Yep so we're like best friends now xD *glomp* Yep, so that was pretty much it, and this is my last con. before returning to the horror of school(2 more years before University, bleh I suck, I still don't really know what I'm going to go into >_> keep changing my mind on it, which isn't good xD) oh well, another week or so, and I just want to make the best of it now. (Oh, btw, I've finally started on my Arjuna project site, it is now currently somewhat 0.01% done xD meaning that I've almost done the layout design xDDD oh well) now I will leave you all, shut up and go to bed since it's so late and I will probably be yelled at by my parents. btw. my con. pictures are up so...go look!!! xDDDDD ||August 29, 2005||
